Although sober living dramatically increases the odds of anyone maintaining long term sobriety, you may be wondering if it’s the right choice for you at this stage in your life. Typically, people come to sober living immediately following inpatient treatment that they have undergone for at least 30 days. For these people, sober living acts as a step down program to ease the transition into your new sober life.
Some people seek sober living who have been through treatment, usually multiple times, who struggle with maintaining their sobriety, feel they have fallen off track from the life they want for themselves, feel disconnected, or simply dissatisfied with their life in sobriety.
Riviera Recovery encourages clients to broaden their concept of what a fulfilling sober life entails and provides exposure to our staff of men and women with as much as 20 years of sobriety under their belts. Health and wellness, both physical and mental, are greatly emphasized. Clients have access to organic, nutritious foods and superfoods and are encouraged to join us for yoga, Pilates, paddle boarding, etc. Client’s stays are month to month, however the recommended length of stay is 90 days.
